I can offer you the space to unload, explore, fall apart, feel witnessed, and rebuild.

Hello. My name is Feliza Guidero.

I imagine you are most likely reading this because you are curious to see if a connection sparks somewhere in these words. I’ll share what I think is important to know about me and my work.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington State trained to work with a variety of concerns and people. I am a person of color and the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants. I bring that life experience to my work.

I can be of particular help to you if you are a young adult, a new parent, a woman navigating all the things, or a person of color. Or perhaps all those at once. I can help if you are struggling with your partner, if life is unbearable because someone you love is no longer on this planet, if everything makes you anxious, if you are trying to pick up the pieces after experiencing trauma, if your relationship with food and your body is rough.

Life is messy, awesome, heartbreaking, and precious. And hard. I am a psychologist because I think that real connection with another person helps you to be more you. And when you are more genuinely you in more areas of your life and with more people, you will live a more meaningful life. You will have more meaningful relationships. I would like to help you live your life in a way that is the most meaningful for you. I don’t know all the answers, but I do know that trying to find the answers with someone is usually better than trying alone.

Whatever led you here today, if you found the spark, please reach out and we can talk about working together.

  • I was raised on Whidbey Island on a farm, playing in the dirt. I enjoy growing anything and know how to walk a cow home after it escapes from the pasture. I have a deep love and respect for the planet. I believe connecting with nature and breathing fresh air can do a lot of good for our mental health.

  • I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology in 2008. I trained in community mental health, outpatient clinic, hospital, and university counseling settings. I have worked with people age 4 and up.

From 2009 - 2023 I was employed with the counseling center at Seattle University, where I served as a staff psychologist, training director, and associate director.

Since 2023, I have worked with MITRE as an independent contractor on projects designed to help mitigate the impact of climate change on the planet. I am currently assisting with efforts to reduce food waste.

My private practice opened in 2024.
